Alexander Cole

Alexander Cole is a seasoned journalist who has worn many hats throughout his young career. The Concordia University Journalism School graduate is currently the Editor-In-Chief of HotNewHipHop where he is tasked with leading a team of writers as the website seeks to cover all of the hottest topics and breaking news in the world of Hip-Hop and pop culture.

On top of his work in the music industry, Alexander is deeply passionate about his first love, which is hockey. He began watching the sport at a very young age and became a goalie in his youth. However, once his hockey prospects were no longer viable, he transitioned to journalism, where he got his start by covering the Concordia Stingers hockey team. This transitioned into internships at TSN 690 where he got to work with radio legends like Tony Marinaro, and Montreal Canadiens enforcer Chris Nilan.

Alexander remains entrenched in the sport of hockey as he has done play-by-play and colour commentary for the Concordia Stingers hockey teams. He even worked for CBC during the U Sports Women's Hockey National Championships in 2023. Since that time, Alexander has transitioned into writing, as he currently manages Toronto Leafs Insider, a website dedicated to daily coverage of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Alexander's dedication to covering the Leafs shines through in his writing, where he always seeks to give fans the most accurate and up-to-date information possible.
