Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving is looking to make a big move at the trade deadline and numerous teams are trying to get Fraser Minten in return.

One of the top targets for the Maple Leafs is none other than center Scott Laughton of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Laughton is a solid third-line center who can help increase your production in the bottom-six while also injecting some grit and experience into the lineup.

However, the Philadelphia Flyers are well-aware of Brad Treliving's intentions, and they aren't going to make things easy on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Are the Maple Leafs trading Fraser Minten?

According to a report from Frank Seravalli on Daily Faceoff Live, the Flyers offered Laughton to the Maple Leafs in a one-for-one trade.

Who would go back to Philadelphia you may ask? Well, it would have been none other than forward prospect Fraser Minten.

The Leafs were quick to say no, which is not surprising given an earlier report claiming Treliving is adamant about keeping both Minten and Easton Cowan.

On today's episode of Daily Faceoff Live, Frank Seravalli said that he was told the Flyers would be interested and willing to do a one-for-one swap of Fraser Minten for Scott Laughton

He said he was also told that it was a no from the #LeafsForever

The Maple Leafs are buyers at the deadline which means the sellers are going to try and inflate their prices to make things infinitely harder.

If you are Brad Treliving, you have to be prepared for this, and from now until Friday, he will not hear the end of it as it pertains to availability of Minten and Cowan.

With those guys deemed "untouchable," it remains to be seen what the Maple Leafs will be able to trade for.

It seems like a lot of teams would love some young prospects and other than Cowan and Minten, the Leafs really do not have a ton of attractive assets.
