Craig Berube Gives His Honest Assessment of the Toronto Maple Leafs' Recent Road Trip
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube coached his team to a 3-1-0 record on their recent road trip and he was recently asked to describe their performance.
Craig Berube and the Toronto Maple Leafs had a busy eight-day stretch as the team took on the Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Seattle Kraken, and the Vancouver Canucks.
After winning the first three games of the road trip, the Maple Leafs faltered last night with a 2-1 loss against the Canucks.

The Leafs weren't necessarily bad last night, although their offense left a whole lot to be desired for most of the game.
Having said that, after the match, Craig Berube had a lot of good things to say about his team and their hard work on the road.
«Very satisfied. We played really good hockey. Tonight was a competitive game.
I thought they were a little bit better than us in the first, but I thought we were the better team in the second. The third was pretty even. They are a good team over there. They work extremely hard. I thought our guys were very competitive tonight. The effort was there.»
The Maple Leafs get a nice rest going forward as they have two weeks off for the all-important 4 Nations Face-Off.
When the team returns to the ice, however, they will be looking to prove themselves as the playoffs fast approach.
The team is second in the Atlantic Division, three points behind the Florida Panthers with two games in hand.
Simply put, two wins in a row would give them the number one seed, which would absolutely be huge for the squad going forward.
Hopefully, the team gets a good rest and comes back ready for war in the final stretch of he regular season.
