The Toronto Maple Leafs have a ton of players on their wish list heading into the trade deadline and one of them is Philadelphia Flyers center Scott Laughton.

Scott Laughton seems to be well-aware of the fact that he is going to be traded soon as he recently posted a photo on social media that channeled the infamous "last supper."

Having said that, the Maple Leafs are the team most interested in the center's services and for good reason.

Max Domi has not been good enough as a 3C and general manager Brad Treliving would love to bring in someone who could inject some much-needed offense during a playoff run.

However, despite the team's very real interest in Laughton, it should not come as a surprise that plenty of other teams are also very interested.

According to Darren Dreger of TSN, there are now eight teams who are trying to acquire the center and they would love to get a first-round pick in return.

As many as 8 teams swirling around the Flyers with calls on Scott Laughton. The center market is shrinking so Briere is in no rush. 1st round picks are in play, but there could be room for improvement as the week unfolds.

Anthony Di Marco reports the New Jersey Devils are in play, but the Maple Leafs seem like the most clear option for the center.

As we previously reported, the team rejected a one-for-one Scott Laughton trade that would have sent Fraser Minten to the Flyers.

Teams include #NJDevils, #LeafsForever, #gosensgo and #gojetsgo. Can't say for certain, but I wouldn't be shocked if TO is pushing the hardest.

Needless to say, the Toronto Maple Leafs have a lot to think about moving forward here.

Scott Laughton is a good player but Brad Treliving must now ask if the juice will be worth the squeeze.

These next couple of days are really going to be fascinating.
