Toronto Maple Leafs forward Ryan Reaves and Max Domi were looking to get into the Holiday Spirit recently, and it led to a pretty hilarious discovery.
Christmas is almost here and just two days before the Holiday arrives, the Toronto Maple Leafs are taking on the Winnipeg Jets in a rare weekday afternoon home game.
Ryan Reaves and Max Domi are having fun
The Leafs are coming off of a loss to the New York Islanders which happened on Saturday evening.
This is a game that they will need to get up for as the Jets have proven to be one of the best teams in the NHL so far this season.
As for Ryan Reaves and Max Domi, they are expected to be in today's lineup, although they are currently going viral for different reasons.
This is because Reavo took to social media where he posted a photo of himself and Domi wearing Holiday-inspired outfits with the caption "Chrithmathss."
What is the significance of this? Well, Domi and Reaves put on some big smiles in this photo and as you can see, they are missing a few front teeth.
Of course, this is pretty common amongst hockey players as guys lose teeth to pucks and even some fights.
Some guys get their teeth fixed while others just leave it this way until the end of the season for good luck.
However, when it comes to Domi and Reaves, there is no doubt that the toothless look matches their personalities quite nicely.
Only time will tell what kind of contributions both players make this afternoon as the Leafs try to get themselves back into the all-important win column.
