Radko Gudas infamously yelled in Joseph Woll's face after Nick Cousins scored the game-winning goal in the Florida Panthers' second-round Playoff series against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
To make things worse, the defenseman, who now plays for the Anaheim Ducks, held Calle Jarnkrok's stick on the play, making it that much more controversial.
Maple Leafs fans have not forgotten Gudas' actions, and when the team took on the Ducks last night, the fans gave the veteran d-man everything they had.
As David Alter of The Hockey News explained, the Leafs faithful were quite mean and made their displeasure known on every occasion.
Of course, the Maple Leafs had the last laugh in the game as they were able to come away with a 3-2 victory against the Radko Gudas-captained team.
Unfortunately, it did come at a cost for the Maple Leafs as their Vezina-contender goalie Anthony Stolarz went down with an injury.
It is believed that he will just be day-to-day and that there is nothing truly serious going on here.
As for the Gudas situation, all of this goes to show that Maple Leafs fans are nothing to mess with.
We even just reported on Bryan McCabe, who left Toronto because he kept getting booed by his own fans. The city is ruthless, and they do not let you forget anything.
If anything, this should serve as a major warning to players throughout the NHL. Mess with Toronto at your risk, because the fans are going to make your life a living hell whenever you step foot on that ice.
