Auston Matthews Completely Embarrasses Reporter Over Stupid 4 Nations Face-Off Question
Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews was asked a pretty ridiculous question about the 4 Nations Face-Off and he did not hide his feelings about it.
Auston Matthews made a defensive mistake on the game-winning goal at the 4 Nations Face-Off final on Thursday.
Mitch Marner took advantage and made a crisp pass to Connor McDavid, who buried the puck past Connor Hellebuyck.

We are now back to reality as the Toronto Maple Leafs take on the Carolina Hurricanes tonight.
It is a big game for the Leafs, and prior to the game, Matthews got to speak to the media where he was asked a whole bunch of questions about the 4 Nations Face-Off.
One of these questions, however, was a bit ridiculous. As you will hear in the clip below, the reporter asked Matthews if he thought he could have deflected the pass.
This led to a very strong response from the captain, who dismissed the reporter by saying, "sure, Kevin."
This clip is now going viral all over social media, and if you are the reporter in this situation, you can't help but feel pretty bad about all of this.
Whatever the case may be, Matthews did make a mistake and he is probably still very upset with himself over it.
But now, the captain must focus on the Leafs who are trying to do some big things in the postseason.
Hopefully, the lessons learned at the 4 Nations Face-Off will give this Leafs team some help once the playoffs come around.
