Fraser Minten's fate with the Toronto Maple Leafs has been confirmed and fans aren't happy
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Fraser Minten has been solid for the team so far this season, however, the Leafs had to make a very difficult decision this morning.
Since being called up to the Maple Leafs, forward Fraser Minten has been solid as he has notched two goals and two assists through 11 games.

Despite being such a young age, some authority figures have noted how the Maple Leafs forward plays with a maturity beyond his years.
Unfortunately, it seems as though this maturity isn't enough to keep Fraser Minten on the roster in the immediate future.
We say that because today, it was revealed that the young star has been sent back down to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
This isn't that big of a surprise, however, fans were hoping that Minten would be given a chance to stay with the big club for a few more weeks.
In the replies to the tweet from LeafsPR, there was certainly some hostility about the decision.

Hopefully, Minten is able to secure himself another chance with the team very soon.
He played pretty well during his time with the Maple Leafs and while he still has some kinks to work out in his game, he is proving himself to be a fine young man who the Leafs would be lucky to have long-term.
