Anthony Stolarz was sensational for the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday but that doesn't mean he would be the starting goalie against the Vancouver Canucks tonight.

Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz have been a sensational goaltending tandem so far this season, although the latter currently has the best save percentage in the league.

He made his return against the Seattle Kraken and turned aside 27 of 28 shots in what was a truly sensational moment for the Leafs this season.

Toronto Maple Leafs starting goalie tonight

Tonight, the Maple Leafs are taking on the Vancouver Canucks and they had to make a tough decision on who to put in the net.

Of course, this is the last game prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off and the team wants to go for four wins in a row.

According to reports out of Vancouver, Joseph Woll is going to be getting the start tonight, which is no surprise.

The Leafs have mostly alternated their goaltenders this season and they will continue to do so until the postseason.

Meanwhile, Woll comes into this game with a goals-against average of 2.67 and a save percentage of .909.

To be fair, his statistics do not tell the whole story as Woll has mostly been sensational for the Leafs, especially throughout this recent road trip.

The team would not be where they are without him especially when Stolarz went down back in December.

Either way, this is going to be a huge game for the netminder who is still very much fighting for that starting job.
