The Toronto Maple Leafs have had to deal with numerous injuries so far this season and Max Domi and Jake McCabe have been two of the players suffering.
Max Domi has been dealing with a lingering injury for weeks at this point, while Jake McCabe has been out since last week with a head injury from being hit with a puck.
Fans have been waiting for both of these players to return, especially after losing two games in a row to the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
It has been reported all weekend that Domi and McCabe will likely be back this week, however, fans have been skeptical.
Thankfully, it appears as though we finally have confirmation that both might be back in the lineup, very soon.
We say this because Sportsnet reporter Luke Fox revealed that both McCabe and Domi were at practice in New Jersey today.
To add fuel to speculative fire, head coach Craig Berube also declared that it is very possible we see Domi on the ice tomorrow night against the New Jersey Devils.
If this is truly the case, then fans have a lot to be thankful for. They have been asking for Domi's return and it seems as though it is finally here.
The only question is whether or not Domi is going to be able to finally get his first goal of the NHL season.
He has struggled, but once could certainly chalk it up to all of the injury issues he has been having.
