Bobby McMann has been a solid depth player for the Toronto Maple Leafs as of late, however, he recently went down with an injury that left the lineup all out of whack.
For weeks, fans have been wondering whether or not the winger would be coming back into the lineup, anytime soon.
Over the last few days, updates regarding McMann have become more and more positive, which has filled the Maple Leafs fanbase with some hope.
Tonight, the team is taking on a struggling Red Wings squad that has lost seven of its last eight, and there was a sense that the winger would find his way back into the Toronto lineup.
Well, that information has been confirmed today courtesy of Sportsnet's Luke Fox, who has made it clear that Bobby McMann will, indeed, be in the lineup tonight.
Perhaps the more interesting revelation here is that Anthony Stolarz has made the trip to Detroit.
Unlike McMann, Stolarz will not be in the Maple Leafs lineup tonight, however, this does lead credence to the notion that the goaltender is going to be day-to-day.
He got injured against the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday night, which was certainly a sore spot for a lot of the fanbase.
Having said that, Joseph Woll will likely get the start this evening, which makes sense as he has had a few games off.
The Leafs are playing against a truly awful Red Wings lineup, so if they can't get the win, we're sure head coach Craig Berube will have something to say about it.
