The 4 Nations Face-Off is set to begin on Wednesday and to celebrate, the NHL unveiled the new trophy that the teams will be playing for over the next two weeks.

Over the course of the next week, Toronto Maple Leafs stars Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and Mitch Marner will take part in the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off.

This is an incredible new idea to replace the NHL All-Star Game and fans are very curious to see how this is going to shake out.

Today, the league was able to build some significant hype for the event by unveiling the trophy that will be awarded to the winning team.

As you can see in the photo below, this trophy is a beautiful work of art that will look incredible while being hoisted on television.

Of course, the Stanley Cup is gorgeous and perhaps the most beautiful trophy in all of sports. But this thing definitely holds its own.

Team Canada and Team Sweden will get things started on Wednesday night and there is no doubt that this will be a game for the ages.

However, both teams will need to carry momentum against the United States and Finland.

The two best teams in the group stage get to play for the title, and as it stands, it is anyone's tournament, even if Finland is a bit banged up.

If you are a hockey fan, you should be feeling pretty spoiled by all of this. While some may be skeptical, there is no doubt that this could be the best idea the league has had in ages.

Hopefully, it all lives up to the hype and fans are able to enjoy a spectacular week of hockey.
