The Vancouver Canucks have been looking to trade J.T. Miller for quite some time as the center's relationship with Elias Pettersson has become a huge issue in the media.
Miller has looked like a sad man as of late and while he has 35 points in 40 games, there is no doubt that the media has made his time in Vancouver less than enjoyable.
Over the last few weeks, there have been numerous instances in which it has felt like the center was on the cusp of being traded.
In fact, the New York Rangers have been the main character of these trade talks and tonight, they finally struck gold.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, the Rangers and the Canucks have come to an agreement on a trade.
This is huge news for the NHL. Of course, last Friday, we got a blockbuster trade and now we are getting another one just a few weeks later.
If you are the Rangers, this trade could not have come at a better time, especially if you consider how the team has been inching themselves towards a playoff spot.
Meanwhile, the Canucks have just solved a massive issue in their locker room prior to the 4 Nations Face-Off.
All around, this is just a good thing for all parties involved, and it will be interesting to see what the Canucks get in return.
