Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner appeared to be doing just fine a couple of days ago, however, he may be out of the lineup against the Calgary Flames.

Mitch Marner has been the best player on the Maple Leafs this season as he has 70 points in 52 games. Fifty-four of these are assists.

Mitch Marner and Oliver Ekman-Larsson up in the air

Tomorrow, the team is set to take on the Calgary Flames where they are hoping to win their second game in a row.

However, at practice today, there were some very real concerns about the Leafs' chances as both Mitch Marner and Oliver Ekman-Larsson were absent.

It was eventually revealed that they were taking the day off for maintenance, but the concerns still prevailed.

After practice, head coach Craig Berube validated those concerns, stating that both Marner and OEL are up in the air for tomorrow night.

At the time of writing this, there is no information on Marner might be dealing with in terms of a potential injury.

With that being said, it would appear as though Max Domi is being slated to replace Marner should the forward have to miss Tuesday's game.

This will definitely put a dent in the team's ability to score goals, but you never really know.

Domi would finally get to play on the right wing which is the position he is supposed to excel at.

Whatever the case may be, things are going to be getting very interesting ahead of the 4 Nations Face-Off.
