Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs will get to play against the Florida Panthers, an Atlantic Division rival who is fresh off of a Stanley Cup victory.

As it stands, the Maple Leafs are first in the Atlantic Division with a record of 13-6-2, and the Panthers are only three points behind.

This is going to be a huge test for the Maple Leafs, who have won seven of their last eight games, which is impressive.

Unfortunately, Auston Matthews will not be in the lineup, which was announced about an hour ago.

However, the attention has mostly shifted to the team's two goaltenders, Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz.

The two have split the games so far this season and there is no doubt that they are both playing at an elite level.

With Woll playing and winning the last two games, the Leafs have opted to start Anthony Stolarz tonight against the Panthers.

Maple Leafs go with Anthony Stolarz

Sergei Bobrovsky will be in net for the Panthers, which is going to be fun for Stolarz, as they were once teammates in Florida.

Bobrovsky is one of the best goaltenders in the entire NHL and will pose a huge test to the Maple Leafs.

This is especially true as the Maple Leafs remain down quite a few forwards, in addition to Matthews.

Whatever the case may be, this is a game that many Leafs fans have circled on their calendars, and for very good reason.

If the Leafs win, then it will confirm that this is a team that can compete with the big boys of the NHL.

Only time will tell whether or not tomorrow morning will be a blissful day for Leafs fans.
