Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer Ryan Reaves was in the lineup against the Philadelphia Flyers last night and to no one's surprise, he was pretty lost out there.

Ryan Reaves made his way into the lineup against the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night and fans were expecting him to get physical and perhaps even fight Garnet Hathaway.

Two nights prior, Hathaway was responsible for an injury to Maple Leafs defenseman Jake McCabe, so some fans felt like retribution was more than justified.

Ryan Reaves plays timing for the Toronto Maple Leafs

Unfortunately, Reaves did not play as advertised on Tuesday night as he was actually quite timid on the ice.

There was no fight or resolve from Reaves and a lot of fans were getting upset and frustrated just by watching him.

If you go on social media, you will find a whole bunch of fans who are angry with Reaves, with most questioning why the enforcer is even on the team at this point.

Well, after last night can we all now, finally, agree that Ryan Reaves serves absolutely zero purpose on the Leafs and that he does in fact make the 4th line even worse? It's time to retire and take a role as official DJ and cheerleader or something

Today would be a great day for the Maple Leafs to waive Ryan "No Fight" Reaves.

He is no longer an NHL caliber player.

Ryan Reaves is useless.

There, I said it.

At this point, the Toronto Maple Leafs should probably think about a trade or perhaps even waiving the enforcer.

With the playoffs coming up, it's not like he will be playing meaningful hockey down the stretch anyway. Craig Berube will want to go with better guys in the lineup.

The lack of physicality is concerning and it seems clear that Reaves has no interest in his role anymore.
