Did Joseph Woll just leak something he shouldn't have?
Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is looking to become a superstar in his own right this season, and he is the best goalie on the Leafs to help them achieve greatness.
In fact, Woll recently announced that he would be engaging in a new charitable endeavor with the team. He wants to work with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Essentially, every time he wins a game at home, $5000 will go the CAMH.
Woll will have to wait just a little bit before he can start donating. we say that because the team is now on the road. Tonight, they are playing against the St. Louis Blues. This is a retribution game as they lost 5-1 the other night against St. Louis in Toronto.
While speaking to the media, Woll may have let it slip that he is actually going to get the start tonight.
Joseph Woll let's one slip
As it stands, the Leafs are on a two-game winning streak. They knocked off both the Winnipeg Jets and the Seattle Kraken. These were some convincing wins and having Woll in goal could certainly help them take it to a third-straight win. Whatever the case may be, the Leafs are on the up and up.
