Mitch Marner is going to represent his country next week and fans are very excited to see what he will be able to do on the world stage.
However, Team Canada already has some pressing questions to answer, including what to make of the recent Sidney Crosby injury news.
For those who may not know, Crosby has missed some time this week with an injury and there are fears that he will not be ready to go for the 4 Nations Face-Off.
This would be absolutely devastating to the team, and when asked about it, Mitch Marner could not help but give a very real answer.
Crosby did get to skate on Friday, so there is potential for the captain to be ready in time for the tournament.
As for Marner, he missed a game earlier this week against the Calgary Flames, but returned last night to help the Leafs knock off the Seattle Kraken.
He even picked up an assist, which increased his totals this season to 71 points in 53 games.
Marner currently has 55 assists this season and even picked up his 500th career NHL assist on Thursday.
Overall, the star forward is at the top of his game and we cannot wait to see what he does at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
