Team Canada is in must-win situation against Team Finland at the 4 Nations Face-Off and it has led to a peculiar goaltending decision from head coach Jon Cooper.

Jordan Binnington has been just alright for Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

While he hasn't allowed an absurd amount of goals, he has still let in some weak ones and it has led to some questions about whether or not he should play against Team Finland today.

Canada has to win to make it to the 4 Nations Face-Off final, and fans have been clamoring for Adin Hill to make an appearance.

Jordan Binnington or Adin Hill?

However, head coach Jon Cooper has decided to be incredibly stubborn here and start Jordan Binnington anyway.

This will be the goaltender's third-straight start in the tournament and if Canada wins today, you have to imagine he will get a fourth in the Championship Game.

Binnington has been pretty shaky throughout the NHL season, however, he has experience carrying his team in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Perhaps Cooper is banking on the goalie to have an extraordinary game knowing what is on the line tonight.

It is going to be fascinating to watch and while Finland are huge underdogs in this one, you never know what might happen.

Canada is going to have to play a solid game for 60 minutes and they will need some big saves from their goaltender.

Hopefully, we end up getting a rematch between two nations that don't like each other very much right now.
