Anthony Stolarz makes insane barehanded save, Leafs players respond with horror
Anthony Stolarz has been absolutely sensational for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season and that was true last night against the Detroit Red Wings.
He let in just one goal as the Leafs won the game by a score of 3-1. It was a huge win as the team is now on a two-gaming winning streak.
They are going to be taking on the Montreal Canadiens tonight, a team that has been struggling mightily. Now would be the time for the Leafs to come through and win their third-straight.
As for Stolarz, he made one save last night that has been getting all sorts of attention. Below, you can see a scrum in front of the net. It ended with Stolarz losing his blocker. He then picked the puck up with his bare hand.

Players on the Leafs were absolutely astonished by what went down. For instance, Mitch Marner spoke on the play and how he thought Stolarz would get injured.
Meanwhile, former captain John Tavares had some jokes about the whole situation. Ultimately, he thought it was just very amusing.
Ultimately, this was a truly special showing from Stolarz and it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. While Joseph Woll will likely get the start tonight, fans are now seeing Stolarz as the future.
