Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has never shied away from his true opinion on things, and that remains the case with the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The 4 Nations Face-Off is going to be taking place in a few months from now and there is no doubt that there will be some Toronto Maple Leafs players participating.

Guys like Auston Matthews, Morgan Rielly, and even Mitch Marner will very likely be on some of the teams.

This, of course, creates some healthy competition within the Toronto Maple Leafs locker room, as some players will be looking to defeat each other on a National level.

Having said that, Berube was recently asked about the 4 Nations Face-Off and it led to a pretty hilarious response that speaks to his attitude on most things.

Simply put, Berube does not care if any of his players make the team.

If they do make the team, well, do not expect a hearty congratulations from him. Instead, you will hear nothing.

«What am I gonna do? Congrats, if you're in. If you're not? Well, that's life. Get ready for the game.»

Needless to say, this is the last thing on Craig Berube's mind right now.

Instead, he is focused on the Maple Leafs, who have won nine of their last 11 and look amazing right now.

Overall, the team has a record of 15-7-2 and there is no doubt that they are on their way to a strong finish in the Atlantic Division.

However, it is all going to come down to the playoffs, at the end of the day.
