Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving's reported trade plans have been exposed
Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving is looking to make some trades moving forward, and it appears as though sources have the inside scoop on his plans.
Brad Treliving has done a pretty solid job with the Maple Leafs so far, however, there are areas on the team that could most definitely be improved going forward.

Over the last few months, the fanbase has been begging for some kind of trade that could ultimately take this Leafs team to brand-new heights
One area where the team could certainly improve is with their depth. Namely, the center position.
According to a report from David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, it would appear as though Brad Treliving wants to trade for a second-line center.
They want someone affordable, but if that isn't possible, then they want to get themselves a left-winger who is capable of lighting the lamp.
Of course, this plays like some sort of wishlist that may not be feasible given the current market.
The Maple Leafs are buyers this season, and other teams are aware of that, which could lead to higher prices for players who aren't worth the asking price.
Either way, Brad Treliving has his work cut out for him over the course of the rest of the season.
This a Leafs team that should be contending for a Stanley Cup, and if they cannot do that, then some hard conversations will need to be had.
