Auston Matthews' latest move may have just confirmed his status against the Panthers
Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews has been out of the lineup for about three weeks now due to an undisclosed upper-body injury.
Fans have been worried about the ailment, although the team has kept a level head about it.
Last week, Matthews went to Munich, Germany where he sought treatment for the injury.
This has fans even more worried because they felt like it was a sign that the injury was much worse than originally believed.
However, it was later confirmed that Matthews was just trying to get to 100 percent. Moreover, it was told that Matthews also wanted to get full maintenance check-ups on his body.
Just a couple of days ago, it was reported that Matthews has found his way back to the ice.
Today, the Leafs were practicing ahead of a game on Wednesday night against the Florida Panthers. Matthews was on the ice, which should be music to the ears of fans.

While there is no guarantee that Matthews will be in the lineup tomorrow night, it is still a hint that he is ready to go.
On Saturday night, the Maple Leafs will be playing the Tampa Bay Lightning, and that is when Matthews will absolutely be back on the roster.
Matthews struggled to start the year, although it was said that his injury is what was keeping him from scoring at his usual pace.
Now that the injury is out of the way, we could be seeing a completely different version of Matthews, or at least that is what fans want.
Only time will tell whether or not we get Matthews in the lineup come Wednesday night.
That would be a dream come true.
