Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Joseph Woll is back from an injury that he sustained right before the start of the NHL season.

Overall, his return has had some ups and downs here and there. However, he was able to pick up a win for the Leafs on Thursday night. The team defeated the Seattle Kraken by a score of 4-1.

Meanwhile, Woll was sensational in the match as he managed to stop 24 shots on 25 attempts. While he was at it, he got the second star of the game. William Nylander was first with his two goals.

Now, Woll is showcasing what an incredible person he is, with a new gesture. According to Bleacher Report, Woll has teamed up with a company to help provide money to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. Every time he wins a game at home, $5000 will go to the cause.

This is a truly incredible idea and it just goes to show how considerate and thoughtful Woll is. Many players do charitable work, but very few actually tie it all to their performance.

Given the fact that the Leafs have a good team and Woll has been fantastic, there is a good chance he will be getting quite a few home wins this season. No matter what, any little bit helps.
