Mitch Marner is one of the best players in the NHL this season and he is one of the major stars on Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
In fact, the Leafs star scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Team Sweden on Wednesday night.

Before the game, the players were introduced to the crowd in Montreal, and everyone on Team Canada received a massive ovation.
This was also true of Mitch Marner and Brad Marchand, who typically get showered with boos while playing in Montreal.
Following the game, Marner spoke about the ovation he got and whether or not he ever expected it.
It was a great night for Mitch Marner and it feels like he is really on the verge of something great with Team Canada.
Their next game is Saturday against Team USA and it is going to be a truly fun matchup between the two biggest rivals in hockey.
Whether or not Marner can keep the success going as the tournament goes on, still remains to be seen.
