Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nikita Grebenkin has been with the team for five games and after a win against the Chicago Blackhawks, he had some interesting comments.

Grebenkin has been awesome for the Maple Leafs in the five games that he has played, even if he has yet to register a goal or even an assist.

Nikita Grebenkin is a player who has a ton of physicality to him, and he knows how to push buttons on the ice.

For instance, in his very first game with the team, Nikita Grebenkin almost got himself a suspension for a late hit. Of course, in the end, he got off scot-free.

On Monday night, Grebenkin was part of some controversy against the Chicago Blackhawks as he leveled a huge hit right at the end of the game as the buzzer was going off.

A lot of players on the Blackhawks did not like this as they felt it was both disrespectful and completely unnecessary.

Nikita Grebenkin on his mentality

However, Grebenkin completely disagrees with this assessment and had some amazing comments about what went down.

"I play. You play. Don't stop. Don't relax. You play NHL, you understand. I kill you. You kill me. It's business. No problem."

In the end, Grebenkin's mentality is a good one to have and it is a reason for why the Maple Leafs should think about keeping him around.

During his time with the team, Grebenkin was able to help secure quite a few wins for this Maple Leafs roster.

The team has won nine of their last 11 games and are currently first in the Atlantic Division with a record of 15-7-2.

Needless to say, it is a good time to be a Maple Leafs fan.
