16-year-old hockey player dies following tragic freak accident
The hockey community is mourning today after the news that 16-year-old star Aaron Cheadle of Browerville, Minnesota, passed away in a car accident.
As per a report from Kare 11, Cheadle was driving to a hockey game and got caught in a snowstorm.
He was eventually swept off the road and struck a tree. Subsequently, he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Cheadle was pronounced dead at Centracare Sauk Centre Hospital.
Since the passing of Cheadle, there have been numerous positive messages online, speaking on just how wonderful Cheadle was.

It is truly a tragedy that he passed away at such a young age.
He was a kid who gave 110 percent 100 percent of the time. He played his first varsity game last week.

A similar tragedy took place recently as a 17-year-old hockey player in Long Island passed away after collapsing during the intermission of a game.
Our hearts and condolences go out to the Cheadle family during this devastating time. We cannot imagine what they are going through.
