Stanley Cup-bound? Jeremy Roenick delivers wild Craig Berube-inspired Maple Leafs prediction
Jeremy Roenick got to play against Craig Berube during his time in the NHL, so he knows that the new Toronto Maple Leafs head coach is capable of.
As we reported, Roenick actually told a pretty hilarious story about Berube and the coach's attempt at seeking revenge once upon a time. However, during that same interview, Roenick also made sure to give Berube quite a bit of praise.
For instance, Roenick was asked where he could see this Leafs team go under Berube. Following his Stanley Cup win in St. Louis, Roenick is pretty certain that Berube will recreate that magic in Toronto. However, the players are going to have to buy in.

The Leafs seem different under Berube, but it hasn't exactly been "exciting." Having said that, the team is currently sitting at a record of 6-4-1. They have won two games in a row, including some wins against the Seattle Kraken and the Winnipeg Jets.
Both wins were impressive and Leafs fans should be excited about what this all means, moving forward. Hopefully, it all culminates in that Cup Roenick is talking about.
