Last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs lost another game, this time at the hands of the Minnesota Wild in an overtime tilt.

The previous night, the Leafs lost to the St. Louis Blues. This has given the team a two-game losing streak which is absolutely not where the team would like to be right now. There is enough talent on this roster for a Stanley Cup, but the team simply isn't playing well enough for that to happen.

Overall, this has been a very up-and-down season, for the most part. Things have not gone spectacularly well, and there are a ton of problems with the team. Of course, the Power Play has been a huge focal point as it is hovering around last place in the entire league.

One area that also very clearly needs some work, is the team's discipline. As it stands, they are averaging a total of four penalties per game, which is beyond bad.

Ultimately, the Leafs are a team that is strong at 5-on-5. The penalty kill is decent enough, but by always being in the box, you are hurting the team. This is something that Berube is going to need to get under control if this Leafs squad wants to go anywhere. It is harsh, but it is true.
