Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has had a lot of trouble when it comes to getting this Power Play going.

However, last night, against the Minnesota Wild, the Leafs finally got it going with a huge goal. It came from William Nylander and it helped tie the game up. Unfortunately, the Leafs went on to lose the game in overtime by a score of 2-1.

When you look at the Leafs' Power Play goal, you will notice that they had five forwards on the ice. This is one of those things that is rare for a team to do. That said, the Leafs were having so many troubles that Berube had to change things up.

Craig Berube explains his choice on the Power Play

While speaking to reporters after the game, Berube explained exactly why he wanted to go with five forwards. His justification was a solid one, and we're sure fans will appreciate the thought.

"Well, confidence, right? It is one. We have to keep working on it. If you look at that power play, we shot a lot of pucks. There was a little more directness, which was good, and then a seamed opened up, and we hit it.

We have talked about [running five forwards] for a bit, and we decided to go with it today."
