Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are taking on the Boston Bruins and with Joseph Woll and Anthony Stolarz playing decent, there was a hard decision to make at the goalie position.

Of course, the Maple Leafs have been struggling as of late. To start the season, they have a record of 6-5-2. They have more losses than wins and the analysts are starting to get very concerned about the state of the team.

However, tonight is a great opportunity to beat the Bruins and show the league that they mean business. They will have to do this without Auston Matthews who was declared to be injured.

That said, choosing the right goalie is very important when you go into these types of games. As you can see below via reporter Luke Fox, Stolarz is going to be the starter for this one.

Toronto Maple Leafs choose their goalie

Stolarz has been pretty solid this season as he and Joseph Woll have engaged in a nice goalie battle. The goaltending has not been the reason for the losses at all. Instead, we have seen losses from this Leafs team because of poor goal-scoring. This was not expected this season, but it needs to be better.

Against the Bruins, fans are going to want something to be excited by. If the lose again, then it could be a very long week ahead.

Do you believe that Anthony Stolarz will get the win for the Toronto Maple Leafs today? Let us know in the poll below.
