Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs will be taking on the Ottawa Senators in what should be a great match between two NHL rivals.

Going into this game, head coach Craig Berube had a big decision to make in regard to his starting goaltenders.

On one hand you have Anthony Stolarz and the other is Joseph Woll. In all fairness, both goaltenders have been solid so far this season.

However, Stolarz has stuck out ever so slightly due to the fact that he is the guy who has been the starter since the very first game. Moreover, he has just been crushing it and the guys are getting confident in front of him.

Woll played against the Montreal Canadiens as the Leafs were coming off of a back-to-back.

Now that the Leafs are going to a normal schedule coming up, it would appear as though Berube has opted to go back to the hot hand of Stolarz.

Anthony Stolarz to start for the Toronto Maple Leafs

Per David Alter:

"Anthony Stolarz is occupying the home net at morning skate and is the projected starter for the #Leafs against the Sens tonight."

The Leafs are currently on a three-game winning streak, and with Stolarz in goal, they will be looking to make sure they are able to get that fourth-straight win.

Ultimately, it has been an impressive showing for the Leafs in these last few matches.

The offense seems to be on a bit of a tear and the defense and goaltending has been nothing short of sensational. By all metrics, Leafs fans should be very excited.

Only time will tell whether or not they can make quick work of their Ontario opponents.
