Tyler Johnson takes direct shot at the Toronto Maple Leafs
Tyler Johnson was one of the latest forward additions to the Boston Bruins, as he was formerly with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Johnson hadn't played a game with the team yet this season, however, on Tuesday night, he finally got into the Bruins lineup. Unfortunately for Johnson, it was not exactly a productive return to the ice. We say that because the Bruins lost to the Maple Leafs by a score of 4-0.
It was a big of a bloodbath out there and perhaps it was all because of Johnson's comments before the game. According to reporter Luke Fox, Johnson was very adamant about the rivalry that the Bruins have with the Maple Leafs. Johnson even said that as a member of the Lightning, he always hated the Leafs a little bit.

Needless to say, these comments did not work out in his favor, not even a little bit. It was probably a bad idea for him to say this kind of stuff, but alas, it is what it is. Perhaps next time, Johnson will know better than to poke the bear. Speaking of Bears, the Bruins continue to struggle.
