The 4 Nations Face-Off has been great so far and everyone was waiting for tonight's game between Canada and the United States.
One of the big narratives included the Montreal crowd who have been booing the Star-Spangled Banner since the start of the tournament.
The Americans were hoping that the Canadian fans would be on their best behavior tonight but that was not the case.
Instead, the American National Anthem was met with a plethora of boos while O'Canada was belted with pride.
As soon as the puck was dropped, we ended up seeing a fight between Brandon Hagel of Canada and Matthew Tkachuk of Team USA.
One second later, Brady Tkachuk ended up fighting Sam Bennett of Team Canada as the crowd exploded.
Then just a few seconds after that, Colton Parayko of Canada made it a fighting trifecta as he went up against J.T. Miller.
Moments ago, Connor McDavid opened the score for Canada making this a 1-0 game.
It was a beautiful goal and it was certainly a welcomed addition to a game that has been filled with fights and physicality.
If Canada can get over the emotional hump here, the United States may find themselves wrapped up in the moment. Only time will tell who wins.
