Brad Treliving reportedly eyes two questionable defensemen and Maple Leafs fans do not approve
Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving has quite a difficult job right now, especially as it pertains to going out and acquiring some defensemen.
With Jani Hankanpaa and Chris Tanev dealing with some injury issues, the Toronto Maple Leafs are in a position to go out and get themselves some supplementary help on defense.
Brad Treliving and the Toronto Maple Leafs seek some defensemen
According to multiple reports, the Leafs and Brad Treliving are thinking about bringing back Luke Schenn.
However, as Jonas Siegel, there are a couple of other controversial defensemen on Treliving's radar.
These players are not controversial due to their actions, but their questionable play at times. One of them is actually quite familiar to the Maple Leafs franchise.
That player is Cody Ceci, and the other is David Savard of the Montreal Canadiens.
As soon as this report hit social media, a ton of fans decided to comment on the possibility, with a whole lot of negativity.
Maple Leafs fans voice some displeasure

The fans absolutely have a point here as the Toronto Maple Leafs are in need of new ideas and not old ones.
Hopefully, Brad Treliving and the franchise take that message into consideration.
