Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi found himself in some controversy after a hit on Isaiah George of the New York Islanders, and now, Patrick Roy is involved.
Max Domi is a player who plays on the edge at all times, and against the New York Islanders on Thursday, the forward found himself in an interesting situation after a hit on Isaiah George.

The Maple Leafs forward got his elbow up and it caught George in the head which subsequently led to the Islanders player getting checked out by medical staff in the locker room.
Domi was not assessed a penalty on the play and the NHL Department of Player Safety neglected to get involved.
After the game, New York Islanders head coach Patrick Roy expressed his anger with the officiating crew as he felt like Domi's hit was an obvious head shot.
Domi was then asked about the comments as well as the prevailing sentiment that what he did was illegal.
As you will read below, the Maple Leafs forward believes anyone who holds such an opinion has never actually played the game of hockey.
None of this matters at the end of the day because the NHL Department of Player Safety deemed it a clean hit.
Now, Max Domi and the Toronto Maple Leafs can focus on this weekend's slate as they take on the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers.
