Nick Robertson's Family Evacuated Amid California Wildfires
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson has been going through a lot as of late as his family was evacuated from their California home amid devastating wildfires.
Nick Robertson was born in Arcadia, California, and while he grew up in Michigan, he still has quite a few family members who live on the West Coast.
With wildfires raging throughout Southern California, those family members have been put in harm's way and this past week, the Robertson's were forced to leave their house.

While speaking to reporters, Robertson revealed that his sister is the main resident at the house in Arcadia.
Luckily, the fire avoided the house completely, but it wasn't looking too good for a while there.
We didn't move out of our house, but we rarely come home. It's pretty devastating out there. The Palisades fires are also pretty bad. While our house hasn't been directly affected, the surrounding area has been impacted. It will take a long time for everything to return to normal, but hopefully, it ends soon.
It's my family house. My sister lives there, and my older sister had to evacuate. She's safe, and the house is safe, but it's devastating to see all the people affected.
The California wildfires have displaced numerous families and the whole thing is just incredibly tragic.
In the Palisades and the Los Angeles area, 5000 homes have perished, and there are thousands of people who now have to rebuild their entire lives.
Firefighters have been working extremely hard to put out the flames and despite the harsh winds, lots of progress has been made.
Hopefully, the local government is able to put a plan into action so that people can rebuild their homes sooner rather than later.
As for the Robertson's, we are happy to hear that they are safe and sound amid the chaos.
