The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Philadelphia Flyers last night, however, after the game, a fight broke out in the stands at the Wells Fargo Center.

Last night's game between the Maple Leafs and the Flyers was a bit of a dud as neither team really showed any physicality or resolve.

However, the Leafs came away with a win that was eventually sullied by a shameful altercation that went down in the bottom rows of the Wells Fargo Center.

Toronto Maple Leafs fans attacked by Philadelphia Flyers supporter

As you can see down below, two Maple Leafs fans were taunting some Flyers supporters who were clearly upset about their team's loss.

However, instead of just taking the loss, one Flyers fan decided to travel down numerous flights of seats just so that he could meet the two Leafs fans face-to-face.

After an exchange of words, the Flyers fan began to throw hands as the Maple Leafs supporters began to back down in a state of confusion.

Overall, it was a truly horrific sight, although thankfully, the two Maple Leafs fans did seem to be doing okay.

As for the Flyers fan, he just simply walked off without a single peep from security or any kind of authority figure.

If fans can just do this kind of thing on a whim, then the Wells Fargo Center needs to figure out their security, immediately.

This kind of behavior is toxic and unacceptable, and the Flyers fans should definitely be banned from the arena.

However, at the time of writing this, there is no word on whether or not the fan has faced any kind of punishment.

At this stage, it may simply be too late.
