Auston Matthews has seven points in his last three games since returning from injury, and it seems clear as day that he is ready for a huge second half of the season.
Matthews's lingering upper-body injury has been a huge problem for the Maple Leafs this season.
The captain had to take himself out of the lineup on two separate occasions and he missed quite a few games as a result.
However, he has returned and the results certainly speak for themselves. In three games, he has two goals and five assists.
While speaking to the media after last night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers, Auston Matthews revealed where he is in his recovery and whether or not he feels 100 percent like himself.
While this is not a direct answer, it certainly feels as though he is a lot further along in his rehab than he was when he first made his return to the lineup.
If you are a Maple Leafs fan, you cannot help but feel enthusiastic about how the captain has been playing as of late.
The team has won five games in a row and they are also at the top of the Atlantic Division, which makes it that much better.
At this stage in the game, it feels like the Leafs are unstoppable, but of course, we have to wait until the Playoffs before casting real judgment.
