The Toronto Maple Leafs are taking on the Vancouver Canucks tonight and head coach Craig Berube has chosen between Joseph Woll and Dennis Hildeby.

Joseph Woll has been a workhorse as of late which has led to speculation that Dennis Hildeby would be getting the start for the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight.

Dennis Hildeby or Joseph Woll for the Leafs tonight?

Typically, morning skate always offers perspective on what the team's plans are for a given game.

Today was certainly no exception as according to Toronto Maple Leafs reporter Luke Fox, Dennis Hildeby was occupying the starting goaltender's net.

This means Joseph Woll is going to be getting a well-deserved night off after he played one of his worst games of the season against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Now, Hildeby will get his fifth-career NHL start and he will also be looking to extend his winning streak to three games.

Hildeby has amassed a record of 3-1 this season, with a goals-against average of 3.23 and a save percentage of .892.

These are not the best numbers, but the sample size is pretty low so you have to give the kid some grace.

The rookie goaltender has been working hard and he has proven to be a solid option for the Leafs now that Anthony Stolarz is out with an injury.

This game against the Canucks should be an interesting one for the Maple Leafs as they are trying to knock off a team that has been punching below their weight this season.

Moreover, the Leafs are trying to maintain their lead in the Atlantic Division, which is very important in order to get a good draw in the postseason.
