Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs get to have a rematch against the New York Islanders and the two goaltenders in the lineup are Joseph Woll & Dennis Hildeby.

Joseph Woll was the starter against the Islanders on Tuesday and he was impressive in that game as the Leafs came away with a 3-1 win.

After tweaking something in his leg during the second period, many fans were having deja vu as it pertains to the Leafs goalie.

However, Woll battled through it and was able to play a tremendous game that showcased perhaps a new mentality from the netminder.

Woll has seldom played back-to-back games this season, but that all changes tonight as the team has called upon him to be the starter.

Throughout most of the season, Woll has had to split the net with Anthony Stolarz, who is currently injured.

Woll's statistics are fairly solid this season as he has 11 wins in 17 games played.

Moreover, he has a goals-against average of 2.48 and a save percentage of .913 which puts him above the league averages.

This weekend, Woll will be busy yet again as the Leafs take on the Boston Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers in back-to-back games.

For now, it remains unknown which of those games he will end up splitting with Dennis Hildeby.

No matter what, tonight will be a great opportunity for the goaltender to prove that he is more than capable of winning multiple games in a row, with little breaks in between starts.

That is the kind of consistency the Maple Leafs want to see heading into the playoffs.
