Don Cherry is easily one of the most controversial voices in the history of hockey commentary, although his take on Hockey Canada and the World Juniors is valid.
Like the rest of the country, Don Cherry is absolutely appalled by the way Team Canada is playing at the World Juniors, and he is demanding that things change.

On Friday last week, Team Canada lost to Team Latvia in a shootout. It was one of the biggest upsets in the history of the tournament, and you can just imagine how livid Canadians were with the loss.
Subsequently, Team Canada lost again, this time to the United States on New Year's Eve.
Now, fans are looking for a scapegoat, with head coach Dave Cameron and Hockey Canada's leadership taking much of the blame.
On his Grapevine Podcast, Don Cherry also pointed the blame at Hockey Canada, claiming that they have no interest in spending any money.
You have Michael Misa, who was on pace to score 140 points in the OHL and has 30 goals and 30 games. I mean, he didn't even get invited to camp.

Cherry makes an interesting point, although there is no telling if Hockey Canada is going to take any of this advice.
If Easton Cowan and the rest of Team Canada somehow manage to win the tournament, then all of this discourse will have been for nothing.
The Canadians are going to be playing against the Czech Republic in the Quarter Finals, and for all intents and purposes, this game is a toss up.
Team Canada should be able to win, but given their play against Latvia, nothing is a guarantee at this point.
