Joseph Woll has had numerous injuries throughout his young career, and when he looked uncomfortable on Tuesday against the New York Islanders, fans couldn't help but roll their eyes.
During the middle of the game, the goalie looked as though he was having some problems with his leg.
Subsequently, there were all sorts of fears that Woll would end up leaving the game in favor of Dennis Hildeby. After all, we have seen this play out before.
However, the Maple Leafs goaltender decided to stick with it and finish out the game. This turned out to be a good choice as the Leafs won by a score of 3-1.
After the game, Woll spoke to the media where he revealed the true nature of his "injury."
As he explains, there was nothing to worry about here. He just tweaked something in the moment, but if eventually cleared up.
This will be music to the ears of Toronto Maple Leafs fans, who do not want to see another goalie go down with an injury.
The team has already lost Anthony Stolarz, so you can be sure they don't also want to lose out on the services of Joseph Woll.
Woll is expected to start again on Thursday night when the Leafs take on the New York Islanders, yet again.
