Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll have proven to be a phenomenal goaltending tandem for the Toronto Maple Leafs and no one really knows which of these guys will be the starter in the playoffs.
Having said that, the former of these two goalies is having the better statistical season and it stands to reason that he will be the playoff starter, unless something drastic changes.
According to Mark Masters of TSN, the Maple Leafs have been praising Stolarz as of late, not just for his saves, but for the way he commands the team from the crease.
As defenseman Jake McCabe explains, Stollie is some someone who is always talking and is constantly communicating in regards to what is happening on the ice.
In fact, Stolarz is such a good communicator that he is getting props from Woll, who admits that his goaltending partner has taught him a thing or two over these past few months.
If you are the Toronto Maple Leafs organization, this is the type of thing that you absolutely love to hear, as it shows just how much camaraderie these guys have right now.
The team is on a four-game winning streak and that chemistry will go a long way in both the playoffs, and the team's upcoming back-to-back against the Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks.
Woll will get the start this afternoon against Pittsburgh, and you will see Stolarz against the Sharks.
