Craig Berube delivers some positivity surrounding Leafs captain Auston Matthews
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has been getting hit with all sorts of questions about captain Auston Matthews and his answers have largely varied.
Auston Matthews continues to elicit questions about his health, and as you can imagine, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube is sick of having to talk about it.

Having said that, after what seemed like a day of negative reports surrounding the captain, Berube did give fans at least a little bit of optimism.
While speaking to the media, the head coach noted that Matthews is making progress and that it has been amazing to see him on the ice at practice.
I know there is no timeline, and we're all looking for one, but it's great having him out there."
However, when asked if the captain would be playing against the Boston Bruins or the Philadelphia Flyers this weekend, Berube was quick to fan the flames.
Instead, he spoke in certainties, one of which being the fact that Matthews is ruled out for tonight's game against the New York Islanders.
At this stage, there are concerns about whether or not Auston Matthews will ever get back to 100 percent this season.
Although the captain is hopeful, there are some fans who are feeling a bit wary, and understandably so.
Only time will tell whether or not Matthews returns before the 4 Nations Face-Off, and whether or not the team will even let him participate in the tournament.
