Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube recently spoke about Max Domi and the current issue with his playing style which has led to zero goals for the forward.

Max Domi has not scored a single goal so far this season, although it also should be noted that he has missed quite a bit of time due to a lingering injury.

One could make the argument that Domi has been afflicted by the injury and that is why he has had a lack of production.

On Tuesday night, Max Domi is looking to return to the lineup against the New Jersey Devils, and fans are hoping to see him in a rejuvenated state where he is able to finally score.

As for his head coach Craig Berube, it appears as though the Maple Leafs bench boss isn't too worried about Domi and his production.

In fact, while speaking to the media, Berube seemed to have the antidote for Domi's struggles on offense.

Max Domi is going through it

Much like Mitch Marner, Max Domi has an unwillingness to shoot the puck sometimes, and Berube believes this is what is truly holding Domi back from being an elite player.

«I think Max has got to maybe take a little bit different approach and not be such a selfless player-shoot more, and just get into the net and greasy areas a little bit more. He's that type of player. He could score goals there.»

Hopefully, Max Domi is able to figure out his game, sooner rather than later.

The fans in Toronto like him a lot, especially with the family connection as his father Tie Domi also played for the franchise.

Only time will tell whether or not Max actually does get to play tonight. We're sure we will get some news and information on that, very soon.
