superstar Mitch Marner was recently asked an interesting question about the NFL and he gave an equally compelling answer.

Mitch Marner is leading the Toronto Maple Leafs in points this season as he currently has 71 in the first 54 games.

Overall, the superstar forward knows what it takes to be successful at the NHL level and he also appears to be a great judge of talent.

Mitch Marner gives his take on the NFL

We know this because after a practice with Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off, Marner was asked about the NFL and if there are any guys who could make it in hockey.

This led to a pretty interesting answer as the Maple Leafs forward immediately mentioned Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

Allen has a very large frame and he is incredibly athletic, which certainly would help his case for making it to the NHL.

With Marner's answer in mind, one has to wonder which position a guy like Allen would end up playing.

Given his size and frame, we are thinking that he would make a great defenseman. He is a quarterback, and defensemen need to be able to make long lead passes.

However, the biggest problem here would be teaching Allen how to skate, especially if he doesn't know how to already.

One thing we do know for sure is that Marner is a huge fan of the Bills quarterback and his bias might be showing a bit here.

Perhaps Allen will have to get on the ice with Marner. Then we can really see what the QB is made of.
