Wayne Gretzky "Heartbroken" Over Recent Backlash From Hockey Fans
NHL legend Wayne Gretzky is taking a lot of heat from hockey fans right now and it has gotten to the point where Bobby Orr is writing editorials to defend his honor.
Wayne Gretzky is easily the greatest player to ever step on the ice and his statistics certainly paint that picture.
However, over the last couple of weeks, The Great One has been taking a lot of flack from Canadian hockey fans who believe he isn't supporting his team and his country like he used to.

The noise around Gretzky has become very loud and earlier this week, Boston Bruins legend Bobby Orr came out and wrote an editorial about Wayne and his devotion to Canada.
Janet Gretzky saw the editorial and posted it on Instagram, where she revealed just how much these kind words mean to the four-time Stanley Cup champion.
Moreover, she added that Gretzky is feeling "heartbroken" by the comment he's read and that all of this has truly taken a toll on him.
Overall, The Great One was a beloved player and now, that mystique is currently fading away.
There are certainly things he could do to rectify the situation although for now, it remains to be seen whether or not that is in the cards.
Until then, Gretzky will continue to work for TNT where he works as an analyst alongside personalities like Anson Carter and Paul Bissonnette.
Only time will tell if Canadians are able to forgive, forget, and regain their respect for the game's greatest superhero.
