Last night, Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Pacioretty got injured during a game against the Montreal Canadiens.

From a team standpoint, it was a solid night as the team won 4-1. It was the team's third-straight win so there was definitely a lot of happiness on that front.

However, the injury to Max Pacioretty was certainly a demoralizing one for a lot of reasons.

Following the game, head coach Craig Berube spoke to the media about the injury and what the team expects moving forward.

As it turns out, fans will have to wait a couple of days before getting a diagnosis.

Craig Berube speaks on Max Pacioretty

"Lower body. We will have to see what is going on there. That is really all I have for that."

John Tavares also spoke on the injury to Pacioretty. As you can imagine, players on the Leafs are feeling pretty awful about it.

"You just hope the news is better than how he's feeling in the moment It's never easy to see. We've obviously found some chemistry together and had some success early, so we're obviously going to miss him and what he brings to the table."

Hopefully, Pacioretty gets a solid diagnosis and he can return sooner than anticipated. You hate to see a guy go down with an injury.
