Insider confirms Nick Robertson's likely fate with the Toronto Maple Leafs
Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nick Robertson has been struggling this season and there is no doubt that fans are getting frustrated.
Overall, Robertson made a big fuss about wanting a trade or a contract.
Eventually, the Leafs have him what he wanted, however, he has not been living up to expectations.
Auston Matthews is returning from injury, and his new linemate is going to be Pontus Holmberg.
This raises questions about why Nick Robertson isn't getting that kind of look.
According to Justin Bourne of The Real Kyper and Bourne show, Robertson simply does not deserve it.

Justin Bourne dishes on Nick Robertson
Nick Kypreos argued that perhaps Robertson's back is causing issues and that he can't do the role they want him to.
Having said that, Bourne believes Robertson might have to go as things just aren't getting better.
These are all guys with 50-point seasons. Not saying Robertson is that, he doesn't have that track record, but you need someone with the ability to put away a play.
The Leafs have some phenomenal young talents like Fraser Minten and Easton Cowan.
At this point, it might just be time for the Leafs to cut their losses and make a trade that sends Robertson somewhere he can thrive.
Given the events of the last few months, it's probably for the best.
